MY STORY

Six years ago, both my and my husband’s health crises led me on an arduous and painful journey. I have been successfully healed from a myriad of debilitating fatigue issues, such as chronic fatigue syndrome, “adrenal dysfunction”, hypoglycemia, and low blood pressure. I accomplished this by being my own advocate and my own best teacher while sifting through all the conflicting information from the three doctors I was seeing for help.

Now I know how to help others heal from Gut Disbyosis and co-infections like Candida and SIBO. I also have many practical, sustainable, life-changing tools for helping people with “fatigue issues”, stress-related fatigue, insomnia, body aches and pains, and food allergies/sensitivities.

My passion is especially for women who are exhausted, burned-out, or dragging themselves through each day. I know so well what it is like to live in the trenches of fatigue and the depression that follows. Women are life-givers and I want to show them how to make sure they take time enough for themselves, without feeling guilty about it, so they can be full enough to give and share all their amazing gifts with the world around them! I am here to offer support through a journey I once lived.

Conventional approach

There are so many specialties in the world of health and wellness, and we often look to one or many of these professionals for the help we need. We all have respect for doctors, dietitians, nutritionists, personal trainers, psychologists, therapists, and specialists of all kinds. The access we have to information is amazing, yet it can leave us extremely confused because so much of the information out there is conflicting. We are left with so many questions. How do I know which way I should eat or exercise? Is there one best way? Why didn’t it work for me? Why haven’t I lost weight? Why don’t I feel better?

My approach

My year at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition equipped me to understand and teach others how holistic wellness is where we find answers to all of those questions. The holistic approach to health creates lifelong wellness. I help you see the way stress from career and relationships impacts our bodies and how exercise and spirituality manage and balance these stressors. Food certainly changes everything, but you can eat perfectly and exercise regularly and still be chronically ill!

I have learned how to look at the whole of your life to help you discover where you already know you need to implement change. It is through small steps, over many months, from many different angles, that lasting change is made. My clients see how these small sustainable changes add up to a much larger impact than they originally anticipated.

Health is a journey, not a destination. I empower you to make these changes through the invaluable accountability of health coaching in one of my six-month programs. You will never regret this investment in working toward achieving your optimum picture of health! You will have the tools to heal yourself in a bio-individual way and will go forward in the world to impact it in a magnificent way, unique to only you!

My qualifications

I recently became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach after attending Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, the leading Nutrition School in the world. This year further equipped me and filled in all the gaps I was missing in the holistic and integrative healthy lifestyle that we all want and need! I now am living an even more rewarding lifestyle that is grounded and sustainable, by successfully managing the stress that relationships and career bring, by regularly moving my body through yoga and light calisthenics and by daily preparing clean nutrient-dense food in a simple way for my family of six.

Training: My education at IIN equipped me with innovative coaching methods, attainable lifestyle management techniques, unique concepts such as primary food, bio-individuality, deconstructing cravings, and crowding-out. I have exposure to over 100 dietary theories, from Paleo, Keto, vegan, raw, The Zone, Aryuveda, and everything in between. I also studied with the world’s top health and wellness experts including:

  • Joshua Rosenthal, MScEd, founder and director of Integrative Nutrition
